The bilateral military exercise Ex Ekuverin between the Indian Army and the Maldives National Defence Forces, MNDF, concluded at Thiruvananthapuram with a joint validation exercise. The two-week training focused on enhancing capabilities in counterinsurgency and counter terrorism operations. The final exercise was attended by Major General RD Sharma, General Officer Commanding of the BISON Division and Brigadier General Abdulla Ibrahim, Commanding Officer of the Maldives College of Defence and Strategic Studies, along with observer delegations from both nations.
