Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has said that India is now set to begin a new phase of technology-driven organic agriculture. He emphasised that the country will move forward with large-scale adoption of modern innovations to improve farming efficiency and sustainability. Addressing the Kisan Kumbh in New Delhi today, the Minister highlighted that the upcoming phase will focus on expanding the use of Artificial Intelligence, satellite monitoring, and eco-friendly practices to boost productivity while reducing costs. Mr Gadkari also stressed the importance of strengthening market systems so that farmers receive better returns for organic produce. He also termed the participation of 2,000 female farmers in the event as a big achievement.
