The Regional Open Digital Health Summit to advance interoperability and standards-based digital health ecosystems across Global South was convened in New Delhi today. Health and Family Welfare Ministry said that the summit aims to build a resilient digital public infrastructure to transform health systems across South-East Asia Region.
Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava has emphasized country’s commitment to inclusive, interoperable and citizen-centric digital health systems. Speaking at the two day Regional Open Digital Health Summit in New Delhi, she underscored country’s journey in strengthening its digital health architecture through robust governance, open standards and emerging technologies.
The Summit has been organized by the National e-Governance Division of Ministry of Electronics and IT, in collaboration with the National Health Authority (NHA), WHO-SEARO and UNICEF. The Summit aims to accelerate the adoption of open, interoperable, and standards-based digital health ecosystems across the region.
