India held bilateral meetings with Germany and Indonesia on enhancing tourism and sustainable travel at Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB) Berlin 2026. ITB Berlin is a key meeting point and the world’s leading travel exhibition for the global tourism industry, providing an important platform for networking and exchange for the Indian travel stakeholders.
At ITB Berlin, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat held productive bilateral meetings with his Indonesian counterpart, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana and Federal Government Commissioner for Tourism of Germany Dr Christoph Ploß. The discussions focused on enhancing tourism flows, boosting sustainable travel, expanding air connectivity, and deepening people-to-people ties between the nations.
At the International Travel Exhibition, the India Pavilion was also there, which showcased the country’s rich kaleidoscope of cultures, languages and traditions. ITB Berlin 2026 was held from the 3rd of February to the 5th of March.
