India and the Assyut Governorate, Egypt, today discussed economic opportunities in diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, health, education, textiles, IT and vocational training. Asyuṭ Governorate is one of the 27 governorates of Egypt. The Ministry of External Affairs said that they discussed efforts to further strengthen the strategic partnership between them. Secretary (South) of the Ministry of External Affairs, Dr Neena Malhotra and Governor of Assyut Governorate, Egypt, Dr Hisham Aboulnasr, were present on the occasion.
