India and Eritrea review progress in bilateral relations

India and Eritrea, an African country, reviewed the progress in bilateral relations, including political, trade and economic, developmental and socio-cultural pillars. During the third India-Eritrea Foreign Office Consultation in Asmara yesterday, both sides agreed to further strengthen the partnership. They also exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest. The Ministry of External Affairs said that Joint Secretary of West Asia and North Africa Dr Suresh Kumar and DG, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Eritrea, Ambassador Estifanos Habtemariam Ghereyus co-chaired the meeting.
