The India Meteorological Department has forecast dense fog over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh today. It has predicted similar conditions over Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. The weather agency has also said that Maharashtra may witness a gradual rise in minimum temperature by two to three degrees Celsius during the next 48 hours.
