India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar till the 31st of this month. Similar conditions will prevail over Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. The Met Department has also predicted cold wave conditions to prevail over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, and Delhi for the next two to three days. According to IMD, squally weather is expected over the Gulf of Mannar and the Comorin area till Saturday.
