The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Rajasthan till tomorrow. Similar conditions will prevail over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for tomorrow. The Met department predicted heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms and hailstorms over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad for the next two days.

The weather agency has also predicted that dense fog is likely during the morning and night hours over Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh till tomorrow. The IMD has also advised fishermen not to venture into the northwest Arabian Sea, the Oman coast, the southwest and adjoining west-central Arabian SeaSomalia coast till the 25th of this month.
