The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for severe heat wave conditions over Gujarat tomorrow. Similar conditions are expected to prevail over Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe for the next two days. IMD has predicted thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttarakhand and the North East region for tomorrow. The weather agency also said that the similar conditions are likely to prevail over Himachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim tomorrow.
