The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Parts of Northeastern states, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Maharashtra and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal during the next two to three days.

Similar conditions are expected over Southern states, including Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, till tomorrow. The Met Department has also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at isolated places over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the next five to six days.
