The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall tomorrow in parts of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Sikkim, the northeastern states, and Uttarakhand. Places over Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, and West Madhya Pradesh are expected to experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds during the next 2-3 days. The Weather Department added that strong surface winds are very likely to prevail tomorrow over parts of Andhra Pradesh, Interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Telangana.
