India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that hot and humid conditions will prevail over Konkan, the coastal areas of Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh till tomorrow. IMD said that maximum temperatures are likely to rise above normal by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius over parts of Northwest India during the week. Similarly, a rise in maximum temperature by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is expected over the central parts of the country during the next 4 days.
