The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that cyclone Montha is likely to move nearly northwards across north Chhattisgarh and weaken into a low pressure area during next 24 hours. Meanwhile, IMD has issued a red colour warning for Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim tomorrow. According to IMD, Bihar will witness heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places. The Met Department has forecast heavy rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat for the day. Similar conditions will prevail over Jharkhand, Konkan, Goa and North-Eastern states tomorrow. IMD has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
