India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the severe cyclonic storm Montha over the West Central Bay of Bengal moved north-westward during the past six hours.

Talking exclusively to Akashvani News, IMD senior scientist Dr R K Jenamani has said that the cyclonic storm is moving steadily towards the Andhra Pradesh coast and is expected to make landfall near Kakinada between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam by this evening.
