IMD predicts thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds in Andaman and Nicobar Islands

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cold wave conditions in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Odisha till tomorrow.
 
 
The Met Department has said that dense fog conditions are likely to prevail over Himachal Pradesh and North-eastern parts of the country for the next two days. The weather agency also said that there will be a gradual fall in temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over western India during the next 48 hours. In addition, IMD has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. 
 
 
Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR has been registered in the Very Poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of the region was recorded at 321 as of 1 PM today.
