The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted cold wave conditions at isolated places over interior Karnataka and Telangana today. It also forecasts dense fog conditions over Assam, Meghalaya, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. The met department said that thunderstorms and lightning conditions are expected in parts of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. 

 

 

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to be in the severe category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index of the national capital was recorded at 461 as of 7 this morning.
