The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in parts of Andhra Pradesh from November 26 to 29 due to a depression over the Bay of Bengal. South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema are likely to receive heavy rains from Tuesday to Friday, with the weather extending to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on November 29. Thunderstorms with lightning are also expected in some areas during this time. Fishermen have been advised to avoid venturing into the sea. The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority has urged farmers to take precautions to protect their crops from damage.
