The India Meteorological Department has forecast cold wave conditions over Telangana, North Interior Karnataka and Interior Karnataka today.
Fog conditions will prevail over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Northeast India during the day.
The weather agency said that Northwest India will witness a fall in minimum temperature by two degrees Celsius for the next two days.
The Met department has also predicted thunderstorms and lightning over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to be in the Severe category.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index, AQI, of the national capital was recorded at 441 as of 1 PM today
