The India Meteorological Department has predicted cold wave conditions over parts of West Madhya Pradesh for the next two days. The Met department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is expected over Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to be in the very poor category. The Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 386 as of 8 PM. In view of the poor air quality, the Commission for Air Quality Management has imposed Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan in the national capital and adjoining areas.
