The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red-coloured warning for dense to very dense fog conditions in Rajasthan today. IMD also issued an orange alert for dense fog over Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh today. According to the IMD, dense fog will prevail over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next two to three days. Meanwhile, the Met Department has said that Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are expected to receive heavy rainfall today.
