India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Odisha till tomorrow. Similar conditions are also expected over parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Gangetic West Bengal during the next two days. The Met Department also predicted heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, East Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Saurashtra & Kutch till two to three days. According to IMD, thunderstorms and lightning conditions are expected over Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu Puducherry, Karaikal and Vidarbha till three days.
