The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Bihar today. According to the IMD, similar weather conditions will prevail over North East India, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat today. Meanwhile, thunderstorm and lightning will continue over East Madhya Pradesh till tomorrow and over West Madhya Pradesh during the next 4 days. Over Eastern part of the nation, these conditions will also be present over West Bengal and Odisha today, and over Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 5 days.
