The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. The IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over the Eastern and Central parts of the country for the next two days.

Similar conditions are expected over the Northeastern states, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, while in the southern parts over Konkan, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next two to three days. The Met department has also predicted isolated to scattered rainfall likely over the South Peninsular India and Isolated rainfall over the Western Himalayan region.
