The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange-colour warning for severe heat wave conditions at isolated places over Gujarat, Saurashtra and Kutch today. The Weather Department has also predicted heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh till tomorrow. IMD said that thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds is very likely at Himachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh during the next two days. It has also predicted hot and humid weather conditions over Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Gujarat till tomorrow.
