The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for heavy rainfall over Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh until tomorrow. The weather agency has also issued an orange warning for thunderstorms and hailstorms over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Odisha, and West Uttar Pradesh today.

Thunderstorms and lightning are expected over Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, North Interior Karnataka, Telangana, and Vidarbha for the day. These conditions will also prevail over Coastal Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Jharkhand, Kerala, Mahe, West Bengal, Sikkim and the Northeastern states.
