The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for dense to very dense fog conditions over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next three to four days.

The Met Department also predicted Dense Fog over Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, West Bengal and Sikkim till the 19th of this month. IMD further said that cold wave conditions will prevail over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Odisha for the next two days.
