India Meteorological Department has issued an orange colour warning for dense to very dense fog conditions over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand today. Dense fog will also prevail at isolated places over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and North-Eastern parts of India till tomorrow.

 

IMD has predicted cold to severe cold wave conditions over Karnataka, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. It has also forecast heavy snowfall over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad today.

 

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to remain in the Very Poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of the National Capital was recorded at 376 as of 1 PM today.
