India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya today. The Weather Agency also predicted a gradual rise in maximum temperature by two to four degrees Celsius over the plains of Northwest India during the next four days. Meanwhile hot and humid conditions are expected over Konkan, Goa, and Gujarat during the next 2 to 3 days.
