The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. The Weather Agency also predicted hot and humid weather over Coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa for the day. Meanwhile, squally weather is expected to prevail over parts of the southwest and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining the east Equatorial Indian Ocean. 

 

The Met Department said that no significant change in minimum temperatures is expected over Western India for the next 24 hours. The IMD added that a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is expected over Northwest India during the next 3 days.
