India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rainfall and snowfall accompanied by thunderstorms over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya till tomorrow, and heavy rainfall in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh today. IMD said that light rainfall is also likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till tomorrow.
The weather agency said that a western disturbance is seen as a cyclonic circulation over Jammu-Kashmir and neighbourhoods in lower tropospheric levels. IMD said that dense fog conditions are very likely to continue to prevail during early morning hours in isolated pockets of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till Saturday.
Meanwhile, some parts of Delhi-NCR witnessed gutsy wind in the early hours of this morning.
