The Meteorological Department has forecast light rain and thundershowers at scattered places in Jammu and Kashmir over the next two days. According to the forecast, brief spells of rain are likely today, with the possibility of hailstorms at isolated locations during the afternoon. The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy tomorrow and the day after, with light rain at a few places in the evening. 

 

The department has advised farmers to resume agricultural activities. A gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius is expected over the next few days. Meanwhile, temperatures across the region remained below normal, with Gulmarg recording sub-zero minimum temperatures.
