India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places of Andhra Pradesh, South Interior and Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal for the next two to three days. Similar conditions are expected over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura till tomorrow. The Met department has also predicted thunderstorms and lightning conditions over Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Karnataka, Telangana, and Lakshadweep for the next three days.
