The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal today. The weather agency forecast heavy rainfall conditions over Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Coastal Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, and South Interior Karnataka today. According to the IMD, Kerala, Mahe, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu are expected to witness thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds during the next 4 days.
