India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Gujarat. Heavy rainfall is also predicted over Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal for next two days. The Met Department also predicted thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds today over Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka, Lakshadweep and Telangana and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. According to IMD, strong surface winds are very likely at isolated places over Andhra Pradesh tomorrow.
