The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Kerala, Mahe and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal today. The Weather Agency has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by hailstorms over Delhi, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Odisha for today. According to IMD, similar conditions will also prevail over Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand today. It also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning over East Rajasthan, Punjab, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh during the next two days.
