India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, along with heavy rainfall over Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam today. The weather agency predicted a gradual fall in minimum temperatures by 2-3 degree Celsius over northwest India except Rajasthan during the next 4 days.

According to the IMD, Himachal Pradesh is expected to witness dense fog conditions night and morning hours during the next 3 to 4 days. The IMD said, smog and shallow fog conditions in the morning hours and shallow fog conditions in night hours are likely in Delhi and NCR today.
