The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim tomorrow. Parts of north-eastern states, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu Puducherry, Karaikal, Telangana, Uttarakhand and Vidarbha are also expected to receive light to moderate rainfall during the next 2-3 days. The weather department also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds tomorrow in places over Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim. IMD said strong surface winds are expected to prevail tomorrow over parts of Andhra Pradesh.
