The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim today.

 

 

Parts of Andhra Pradesh, North eastern states, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu Puducherry, Karaikal, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan , Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are also expected to receive heavy rainfall throughout the day.

 

 

The Weather department further predicted thunderstorms and lightning in parts of the Gujarat, Karnataka, Goa, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Telangana and Uttarakhand.
