India Meteorological Department – IMD has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall to continue over Northeast and East India during the next 7 days. According to the IMD, heavy rainfall will continue over Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Bihar till the 9^th of this month. Meanwhile, Heavy to very heavy rainfall will be present over Tamil Nadu, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 5 days. The weather agency has also forecast heavy rainfall over Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana tomorrow.
