The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Odisha tomorrow. The Met Department predicted moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim tomorrow and Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh till the 6th of this month. The weather department also forecast similar conditions over Northwest and Northeast India till the 9th of May.

In Southern India, moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and strong wind speeds is likely over Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Kerala and Mahe for the next seven days. Thunderstorms and lightning with strong winds and rain will also prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next 7 days.
