India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Bihar, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Konkan, Goa, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Sikkim today.

The Met Department has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds in parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, West Bengal, Sikkim and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the next two to three days.

IMD has said that the condition of squally weather is likely to prevail over some parts of the East Central Arabian Sea today.
