The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning over Northeast India tomorrow. The Weather Agency also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by hailstorms over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan during the next 2 days. Similar conditions are expected over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad. Meanwhile, Bihar, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Odisha, Telangana, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh are likely to witness thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds till Tuesday. According to IMD, a rise in maximum temperatures by two to four degree Celsius is expected over Northwest India except Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours.
