The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Rayalaseema today. The weather agency has predicted similar conditions over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala and Mahe tomorrow. It also said scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh during this week.
