The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Odisha and Chhattisgarh today. The meteorological department has predicted heavy rainfall in parts of North East, Bihar, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Telangana, and Vidarbha for two to three days. The weather agency also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds in places over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Rayalaseema, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra until tomorrow.
