The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for thunderstorms accompanied by hailstorms over Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh till tomorrow. Similar conditions are expected to prevail over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and West Uttar Pradesh. The weather agency has forecast dense fog over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till the 24th of this month. According to the Met Department, there will be a rise in temperature by 2-3 degree celsius over parts of Central India during the next twenty-four hours.
