India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heatwave conditions over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab during next four days. It has also predicted hot and humid weather is likely to prevail over Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. IMD said, there will be no significant change in maximum temperatures over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan during next two days.

The weather department has also predicted that heavy to very heavy rainfall spell is likely to continue over Northeast India till tomorrow. Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm is likely over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, East Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
