India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a gradual rise in maximum temperature by two to three degrees Celsius over northwest parts of the country during the next seven days.
IMD also predicted a gradual rise in maximum temperature by two to three degrees Celcius over Central and East India during the next 4 days.
Meanwhile, the weather agency said that isolated to scattered light rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is expected over Chhattisgarh till tomorrow.
IMD also predicted isolated light rainfall or snowfall over Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on Friday and Saturday.
