The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast extremely heavy rainfall over Saurashtra and Kutch in Gujarat tomorrow. The Met department has also forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall conditions over Gujarat, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra during the next two days. According to the weather agency, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, along with Andaman and Nicobar Islands are expected to witness heavy rainfall during the next two to three days. The IMD also predicted thunderstorms accompanied with lightning over Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, and Jharkhand during the next two days.
