India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cold wave to severe cold wave conditions in parts of West Madhya Pradesh tomorrow. IMD has also said that there will be a gradual rise in minimum temperature by 2 to 4 degree Celsius in Central India during next 5 days. Meanwhile, the weather agency has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands tomorrow. The Met Department has predicted squally weather conditions over Lakshadweep and adjoining areas, Andaman Sea, and adjoining parts of South East and East Central Bay of Bengal.
In addition, the air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to be in a very poor category. The Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded 395 at 8 PM today. In view of the poor air quality, the Commission for Air Quality Management has imposed Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan in the national capital and adjoining areas.
